Senior AWS Full Stack Developer

Position Details:

Job Summary:
The Treasury and Financial System Applications section at CPA is seeking a highly motivated AWS Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise cloud applications. The selected candidate will work closely with product owners, scrum masters, architects, and stakeholders to build scalable AWS-based serverless applications and modern full stack solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain cloud-native applications on AWS
• Design and implement serverless architectures using AWS services
• Build scalable microservices and RESTful APIs
• Design cloud migration and integration strategies
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation
• Conduct code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning
• Build Dev, Test, and Production cloud environments
• Ensure security, compliance, scalability, and high availability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and solution architects
• Provide technical guidance and best practice recommendations

Required Skills:
• AWS Certified Developer or AWS Solution Architect Certification
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including:

• CloudFront
• EC2
• CloudFormation
• Lambda
• S3
• Route53
• AWS CDK
• SNS & SQS

• Strong experience with:

• React JS
• Node JS
• Python
• JavaScript
• REST APIs
• Microservices Architecture

• Experience with:

• MongoDB
• Oracle/Relational Databases
• Kafka / RabbitMQ / ActiveMQ
• Jenkins
• Git / BitBucket
• AWS DevOps Technologies
• CI/CD Pipelines

• Experience with:

• IAM & Security Implementation
• OKTA / ForgeRock Authentication

Preferred Skills:
• Selenium Automation experience
• AWS deployment monitoring tools

Work Schedule & Onsite Expectations:
• Standard work hours: 8 AM – 5 PM CST
• Remote role with occasional onsite requirements:

• Out-of-state candidates: 1–2 visits annually
• Candidates within 50+ miles: once per month onsite
• Austin local candidates: 2–3 days onsite weekly
