PSA Engineer - DTS Dispatcher Training Simulator
100% Remote
Long Term Contract/ Full Time role


Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
  • Administer and optimize Energy Management System (EMS) system through application configuration, tuning and security patching preferably on GE PowerOn Reliance (XA21) and/or AEMS Platform Software, as well as EMS of any equivalent platforms from Siemens, OSI, ABB, Schneider etc.
  • Simulated RTU, Simulated IED, Console
  • ICCP, IEC, DNP3, Modbus, Data Modeling, XML/JSON
  • Proficient in both Linux and Windows operating environments.
  • Knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle and SQL Server.
  • Over 5 years of experience in Power system applications including Power Flow, State Estimator, Contingency analysis, Load Frequency Control(AGC), Dispatcher Training Simulator (DTS) with expertise in model validation event creation
  • Experience in programming languages for system integration or scripting, such as C, C++, PERL, or similar. SQL & Shell scripting, and ability to read and interpret logs and debug files.
  • Must have experience in picking up and installing fixes on live customer systems

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Model validation and defect fixing for DTS system.
  • Perform necessary technical corrective actions to restore failed or failing technical services on EMS system.
  • Conduct code review, deployment, testing and monitoring of break/fix patches and modification.


Generic Managerial Skills, If any
  1. Ability to manage client discussions, and technical reviews.
  2. Effective communication, documentation, and presentation abilities.
  3. Familiarity with project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
  4. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.

EXPERIENCE RANGE IN REQUIRED SKILLS: 5 to 8 years
Education: Master's or Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
