**Overview:**
We are searching for an accomplished Senior Data Architect experienced in designing, implementing, and scaling advanced AI platforms and data solutions on cloud environments such as Azure and AWS. You will play a crucial role in aligning technical strategy with business objectives, providing architectural leadership, and delivering AI-driven enhancements to modern enterprise architectures.
**Role Summary:**
As a Senior Cloud Data Architect, you will be responsible for partnering with business and engineering teams to architect next-generation data and AI services across large-scale organizations. You will shape technical blueprints, drive enterprise adoption of AI and cloud data modernization, enforce best practices, and oversee robust data and integration architectures. Your ability to blend hands-on technical skills with leadership, planning, and communication will be key to successful project delivery.
**Responsibilities:**
- Advise delivery teams on end-to-end solution architecture, including design, deployment, integration, and technical guidance for data and AI initiatives.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and reliable data/AI platform solutions using Azure and AWS.
- Review and approve architectural models, integration patterns, data flows, and automation frameworks.
- Architect and operationalize AI-powered services, ensuring enterprise readiness in terms of scalability, resilience, and governance.
- Champion and enforce data governance, data stewardship, and model lifecycle controls.
- Develop and maintain architecture artifacts and technical documentation, including playbooks and decision records.
- Foster best practices for APIs, microservices, event-driven design, and secure inter-system integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure delivery aligns with key business and compliance objectives.
- Mentor engineers on best practices in cloud-native development, DevOps, and AI enablement.
- Assess and integrate emerging AI technologies (Generative AI, LLMs, automation agents) into existing enterprise systems.
**Core Skills & Experience:**
- Over 10 years’ experience in enterprise data or solution architecture, preferably in AI-related systems and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
- Deep expertise in designing and implementing cloud-native, AI-enabled solutions
- Proven ability to architect and deliver large-scale integrations (ERP, CRM, HR, reinsurance, SaaS, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, event streaming, and automation pipelines
- Proficient in enterprise data modeling, governance, lineage, and security standards
- Experience with SaaS and low-code integration, and best practices for AI/ML solution delivery
- Background in technical documentation, decision frameworks, and architectural standards
**Preferred Experience:**
- Familiarity with cutting-edge AI/ML platforms such as Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Databricks, or similar
- Experience in LLM orchestration, AI-fueled workflow automation, or enterprise assistant/coproducts integration
- Hands-on exposure to modern DevOps, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and agile environments
- Certification in AWS/Azure Architect roles, Data Engineering, or cloud/AI platforms is a plus
