AWS Architect

Job Title: AWS Architect – Techno Functional

Location: Dallas TX (Hybrid)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced AWS Architect with strong techno-functional expertise to design, implement, and optimize cloud-based solutions on AWS. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud architectures. This role requires a blend of technical leadership, solution architecture, business analysis, and client-facing communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

·         Design and architect scalable, secure, and cost-effective AWS cloud solutions.

·         Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

·         Collaborate with business users, project managers, developers, and infrastructure teams.

·         Lead cloud migration, modernization, and digital transformation initiatives.

·         Define AWS architecture standards, governance, security, and best practices.

·         Develop solution blueprints, technical documentation, and architecture diagrams.

·         Provide guidance on AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, ECS/EKS, and API Gateway.

·         Support DevOps and CI/CD implementation strategies using tools like Jenkins, Terraform, GitHub Actions, or AWS DevOps tools.

·         Participate in client discussions, solution presentations, and technical workshops.

·         Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, monitoring, and performance optimization of cloud environments.

·         Work closely with data, application, and integration teams for end-to-end solution delivery.

Required Skills

·         Strong experience with AWS cloud platform and architecture design.

·         Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, and CloudFormation/Terraform.

·         Good understanding of cloud security, networking, and compliance frameworks.

·         Experience with microservices, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and serverless architecture.

·         Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

·         Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

·         Ability to interact with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

·         Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Qualifications

·         AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or Associate.

·         Experience with enterprise application integrations and cloud migration projects.

·         Exposure to multi-cloud environments is a plus.

·         Prior consulting or client-facing experience preferred.
