CTG is seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer to design, develop, and support scalable enterprise applications using modern Java technologies. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, Kafka, and cloud-native development practices.

Duration: 11 months
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain backend services using Java 17+/Java 21 and Spring Boot.
- Design, build, and scale microservices-based applications.
- Develop RESTful APIs and implement secure, reliable backend solutions.
- Design and support Kafka-based messaging and event-driven architectures.
- Troubleshoot complex issues in distributed systems and improve application performance.
- Optimize SQL queries and database performance.
- Build and deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Participate in code reviews, CI/CD processes, and architecture discussions.
Required Skills & Experience:- 7+ years of backend or full stack software development experience.
- Expert-level Java 21 or Java 17+ development experience.
- Extensive Spring Boot experience, including Spring Data, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.
- Strong experience designing and implementing microservices architectures.
- Advanced knowledge of software design patterns and system architecture principles.
- Strong SQL skills with database performance tuning experience.
- Experience with Git, branching strategies, and CI practices.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka and distributed messaging systems.
- Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform cloud platforms.
- Experience with API gateways or service mesh technologies.
- Background in application performance tuning and security hardening.
Education:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $50.00 to $55.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
