Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Appian Developer to design and deliver robust, automated, and compliant business process solutions that integrate with enterprise data platforms and cloud-based services. This role plays a critical part in building scalable enterprise workflow solutions within regulated environments, particularly across mortgage and financial operations.

The ideal candidate brings deep Appian platform expertise, strong workflow and BPM design skills, and experience delivering complex enterprise applications end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Appian BPM applications supporting mortgage and financial operations

• Translate business and functional requirements into scalable Appian workflows, rules, and user interfaces

• Build and optimize SAIL interfaces, process models, record types, and expression rules

• Develop secure and reliable integrations between Appian and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to meet functional, performance, and compliance requirements

• Support data modeling and database integration to ensure efficient data handling

• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployments to ensure high-quality deliverables

• Contribute to DevOps and CI/CD practices, including automation, version control, and release management

• Troubleshoot and resolve application, performance, and integration issues

• Provide technical guidance for enhancements and production support

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in Appian application development

• Deep expertise with the Appian platform (SAIL, process models, record types, expression rules, integrations)

• Strong understanding of business process modeling (BPM) and workflow automation

• Proven experience delivering end-to-end enterprise workflow solutions

• Solid SQL and data modeling skills with enterprise database integration experience

• Hands-on experience with REST and SOAP API integrations and secure integration patterns

• Working knowledge of Java for custom integrations or backend services

• Experience working in AWS cloud environments (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, etc.)

• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Git

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in mortgage or financial services domains

• Familiarity with Freddie Mac programs or platforms

• Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments
