Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Security with strong expertise in Fraud Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Issue Remediation within financial services environments.
This role will manage fraud-related initiatives, regulatory remediation efforts, and cross-functional coordination across Fraud Operations, Risk, Compliance, Technology, and Audit teams. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing audit findings, regulatory issues, and fraud control frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Project Execution & Delivery
Manage fraud-related projects from initiation through closure
Develop and maintain detailed project plans including tasks, dependencies, and milestones
Coordinate execution across Fraud Operations, Compliance, Risk, Technology, and Audit teams
Identify, track, and escalate risks and issues
Ensure projects meet scope, timeline, and quality expectations
Issue & Remediation Management
Lead remediation efforts for internally identified issues and audit findings
Manage full remediation lifecycle:
Root cause analysis
Corrective action planning
Implementation
Validation & closure
Ensure remediation aligns with regulatory and policy standards
Maintain documentation and evidence for audit validation
Fraud Domain & Regulatory Support
Apply knowledge of fraud operations including:
Fraud detection & prevention
Claims processing & disputes
Client authentication controls
Support initiatives related to:
Regulation Z requirements
Claim resolution processes
Fraud control frameworks
Partner with Risk and Compliance teams to ensure regulatory alignment
Reporting & Stakeholder Communication
Provide regular status reporting including risks, remediation progress, and outcomes
Prepare executive-ready documentation and updates
Support governance routines, working groups, and audit reviews
Required Qualifications
Proven Project Management experience in:
Fraud Operations
Financial Crimes
Risk or Compliance environments
Hands-on experience managing audit findings and regulatory remediation
Strong understanding of:
Fraud operations
Claims processes
Fraud detection & prevention controls
Regulation Z
Strong organizational and multi-project management skills
Excellent stakeholder communication abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in banking, financial services, or payments industry
Familiarity with audit lifecycle and control testing
Experience in highly regulated environments
PMP, CAPM, or equivalent certification (preferred)
