Job Title: Oracle Fusion PLM Functional Consultant
Location: Boston, MA (Remote)
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Oracle Fusion PLM Functional Consultant to lead the implementation, configuration, and support of Oracle Fusion Product Lifecycle Management modules. The consultant will work closely with business users, technical teams, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective PLM solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Responsibilities
- Lead Oracle Fusion PLM support activities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to:
- Product Information Management (PIM)
- Item Management
- Change Management (ECO / Change Orders)
- Product Development
- Product Hub
- Configure Oracle Fusion PLM modules as per business requirements
- Define and manage:
- Item Classes, Attributes, and Structures
- Lifecycle Phases and Statuses
- Change Order Types and Workflows
- Support item creation, updates, versioning, and approvals
- Perform functional testing, UAT support, and issue resolution
- Prepare functional design documents (BRD, FDD)
- Provide end-user training and post-go-live support
Integration & Data
- Work with technical teams on integrations between:
- PLM and Oracle Fusion SCM
- PLM and ERP / legacy systems
- Support data migration using FBDI / ADFdi
- Validate item, BOM, and change data loads
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion PLM
- In-depth knowledge of:
- Product Information Management (PIM)
- Change Management
- Item Structures and BOM concepts
- Experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud implementations/Support
- Excellent understanding of product lifecycle processes
- Ability to conduct workshops and interact with business users
Preferred / Good to Have
- Knowledge of Oracle Fusion SCM modules (Inventory, BOM, Costing)
- Basic understanding of REST/SOAP integrations
- Experience with Oracle Fusion Security and Roles
- Exposure to Agile / Scrum project methodologies
- Oracle Cloud PLM certification
