Job Title: EHR Business Analyst

Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – Minimum 3 days onsite per week
Contract Duration: Through June 30, 2027

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced EHR Business Analyst to support Electronic Health Record (EHR) initiatives for a public health organization. The ideal candidate will have strong business analysis, requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and process improvement skills, preferably within healthcare, public health, or government environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, document, prioritize, and validate business, clinical, operational, technical, data, and reporting requirements.

• Facilitate stakeholder meetings and requirements-gathering sessions to understand business needs and workflows.

• Translate stakeholder needs into clear, measurable, testable, and solution-neutral requirements.

• Analyze current-state and future-state workflows to identify gaps, dependencies, risks, and process improvement opportunities.

• Develop process maps, business rules, use cases, requirements matrices, gap analyses, and SOP documentation.

• Facilitate requirements reviews and resolve conflicting requirements across different stakeholder groups.

• Support EHR implementations and enhancements through test scenario development, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect tracking, and requirements validation.

• Prepare executive-level reports, risk analyses, and project documentation.

• Coordinate with project managers and cross-functional stakeholders to track requirements, dependencies, decisions, risks, and deliverables.

• Support multiple concurrent EHR initiatives, including workflow changes, system enhancements, and patient-facing functionality.

Required Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.

• Strong experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, prioritization, and stakeholder facilitation.

• Experience with process improvement, workflow analysis, process mapping, and SOP documentation.

• Experience preparing executive-level reports and conducting risk analysis.

• Excellent analytical, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) or Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.

• Experience in state or federal government, public health, healthcare, or related service-oriented organizations.

• Experience supporting clinical workflows, EHR implementations, system enhancements, and UAT.

• Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Healthcare Administration (MHA).

• Lean Six Sigma, project management, change management, or business analysis certification/training.

Important Requirements:

• Must be available to work onsite at least three days per week in downtown Oklahoma City.

• Must be willing to attend an in-person interview if required.

• Candidates with relevant healthcare or EHR experience are strongly preferred.
