Application Developer (.NET Stack – Healthcare Payer)

Location: Remote
Rate: $55/hr

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Application Developer with strong expertise in the .NET stack and deep functional experience in the Healthcare Payer domain, specifically supporting Medicare Therapy Management and Pharmacy platforms.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in ASP.NET Core, Angular, SQL Server, and cloud platforms, along with experience supporting production systems and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Mandatory Requirements

5+ years of experience in Healthcare Payer domain
Strong business knowledge of:
- Medicare Therapy Management (MTM)
- Pharmacy platforms
Hands-on experience with ASP.NET Core and .NET Core framework
Strong experience with Angular, JavaScript, HTML
Database expertise in SQL Server
Experience with SSIS and SSRS
Experience with OCP (OpenShift Container Platform) and/or AWS

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain web applications using the .NET Core framework
Develop responsive front-end interfaces using Angular and modern JavaScript frameworks
Integrate UI components with backend services using C#
Build and optimize database solutions in SQL Server / Azure SQL / MySQL
Develop ETL and reporting solutions using SSIS and SSRS
Provide production support, troubleshoot defects, and implement fixes
Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions
Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams
Work within Agile delivery frameworks
Support CI/CD and DevOps best practices

Technical Skills

Backend: C#, ASP.NET Core, .NET Core
Frontend: Angular, JavaScript, HTML, jQuery (nice to have React.js / Knockout.js)
Databases: SQL Server, Azure SQL, MySQL
Data & Reporting: SSIS, SSRS
Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure (preferred), OCP (OpenShift)
DevOps: CI/CD, Agile methodologies

Nice to Have

Experience with Azure DevOps tools
Exposure to containerization and microservices architecture
Experience working in highly regulated healthcare environments
