Job Description:
We are seeking a visionary Senior Data Architect , in USA, to lead the design and development of a mission-critical, multitenant data platform for a Fortune 100 organization. This is a "ground-up" build, offering the rare opportunity to set the technical direction, select the core stack, and drive architectural standards for a platform that will deliver massive-scale business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership & Strategy: Take ownership of the architectural roadmap. You will evaluate emerging technologies and make the high-stakes choices that define our multitenant data ecosystem.
- Architectural Design: Conceive and drive the end-to-end design of scalable data pipelines, ensuring security, performance, and multi-user isolation.
- Hands-on Individual Contribution: This is a "player-coach" role. You are expected to be in the code, building core components and solving complex engineering hurdles alongside guiding the team.
- Mentorship: Evangelize technical excellence. You will mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of passion for tech trends and robust implementation.
Technical Qualifications
- Cloud Data Mastery: 5+ years of deep experience building modern cloud data platforms specifically leveraging Databricks, Snowflake, or AWS Glue.
- Streaming & Real-Time: Proven hands-on experience with Kafka for real-time data streaming and managing high-velocity, high-volume data ingestion.
- Core Engineering: 10 12 years of professional development experience with a strong command of Python, SQL, and Scala or Java.
- Distributed Systems: Expert-level proficiency in Spark and other distributed computing frameworks.
- AWS Ecosystem: Significant experience architecting within the AWS ecosystem, specifically designing S3-based Lakehouse architecture.
