Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS R12 Technical Consultant with strong expertise in Procurement modules (PO, AP, iProcurement, Sourcing) and hands-on experience with XML, EDI, and integrations. The consultant will support an assessment engagement for a defense client, analyzing current technical configurations, interfaces, and integration points to identify opportunities for optimization and modernization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and assess current Oracle EBS R12 Procurement technical configurations, including customizations, workflows, and approvals.
• Review and evaluate existing XML and EDI interfaces, file formats, and data exchange processes between Oracle EBS and external systems.
• Conduct technical gap analysis and identify opportunities for process optimization, performance improvements, and integration enhancements.
• Provide guidance on best practices for Procurement module integrations, including inbound/outbound interfaces, web services, and APIs.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and client teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Prepare technical documentation, including interface specifications, data mappings, and system configuration notes.
• Assist in knowledge transfer to client technical teams on integration management and Oracle EBS technical best practices.
• Support upgrade or modernization recommendations related to procurement integrations and EBS technical architecture.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong technical experience in Oracle EBS R12 Procurement modules (PO, AP, iProcurement, Sourcing).
• Hands-on expertise in XML, EDI, and interface development within Oracle EBS environments.
• Knowledge of PL/SQL, Oracle Workflow, APIs, and concurrent programs is essential.
• Experience with technical troubleshooting, performance optimization, and integration testing.
• Understanding of defense or regulated industry compliance requirements is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Exposure to Oracle Cloud Procurement or modernization initiatives is desirable.
