Summary
- Experience - 12 or more years of work experience in business or systems analysis within the IT development field with three (3) of those years in the healthcare industry; OR any combination of academic education, professional training, or work experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
- Workers’ Compensation or Healthcare experience, including knowledge of provider administration practices.
- Experience in Salesforce, Healthcloud, and Virsys12 a huge plus.
- Required non-technical proficiencies and knowledge - Critical skills include excellent interviewing, facilitation, organization, project management, analytical and problem solving, mentoring and strong verbal communications and documentation writing abilities; Strong customer service skills and prior experience supporting internal customers; Good presentation skills and the ability to provide end-user training when needed; Ability to make judgments, decisions and suggestions for procedural improvements; Ability to handle fast-paced work flow and multi-task; Flexible to meet changing needs and multiple tasks; Excellent follow-through skills with strong attention to detail; Strong ability to develop, understand and translate detailed requirements documentation from business client requirements; Adaptive and open to frequent changes in work environment and prioritization; Able to manage multiple competing deadlines; Efficiently able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Required technical proficiencies/knowledge - Familiar with advanced IT concepts, IT policies, LAN connectivity and LAN security. Familiar with web technologies, PC hardware platforms, and MS Operating Systems. Knowledgeable designer of Intranet and/or web-based systems. Strong experience with client/server databases (DB2, SQL) and reporting tools; Enhanced knowledge of database structure and design; Thorough understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and change management; Expert with all aspects of Microsoft Office and other Microsoft products (InfoPath, Word, Excel, Access, Project, XML, MS SQL Server, SharePoint, VSS, Microsoft Windows); SCRUM/Agile processes; Strong interfaces; Strong knowledge of Internet formats and languages; Enhanced knowledge of software quality assurance methodology and practice; understanding of systems and applications with the ability to learn managed healthcare systems, business analysis and problem solving.
