NS2 Mission is looking for a
UI Developer with strong Vue.js experience to craft modern, responsive applications that deliver both performance and exceptional user experience.
In this role, you'll support the EMMETT program, a next-generation Space Domain Awareness (SDA) Indications and Warning (I&W) system. The platform establishes and maintains a repository of resident space objects (RSOs), identifies objects of interest, and delivers critical data to ground operators.
You'll play a key role in developing user interfaces that make complex space and sensor data accessible and actionable, working alongside a team leveraging programmatic expertise, sensor modeling, and systems engineering to deliver a world-class SDA capability.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop dynamic, responsive user interfaces using Vue.js
- Build reusable UI components and maintain consistency across applications
- Translate wireframes, mockups, and design systems into high-quality code
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to refine user workflows and interactions
- Integrate front-end components with RESTful APIs and backend services
- Optimize UI performance and initial load times
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to front-end/UI best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve UI/UX issues in production environments
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in user interface development
- Proficiency in Vue.js
- Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS
- Understanding of responsive design and UI/UX principles
- Experience integrating with RESTful APIs
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Ability to work onsite in Chantilly, VA
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with modern build tools and deployment pipelines
- Knowledge of UI testing frameworks
- Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
