Job Description
There is an opportunity for a Contractor SAP TRM Business Analyst within the Information Technology organization. The role will support the integration of financial derivatives across multiple SAP environments. The analyst will collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, support solution design, coordinate testing, and assist with implementation activities. Strong experience with SAP Treasury and Risk Management (TRM) and exposure to SAP IS-OIL, SAP ACM, and SAP Commodity Management/Risk Management is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Support implementation and integration of financial derivatives in SAP TRM aligned with SAP IS-OIL, ACM, and related risk modules.
- Partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather, document, and refine business and functional requirements.
- Analyze and map business processes to inform integration design, fit-to-standard assessments, and process improvements.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and support technical design, configuration, testing, and delivery.
- Coordinate SAP TRM integration with SAP IS-OIL and SAP ACM with technical teams.
- Provide functional and technical perspectives across the core workstream and integrated SAP modules.
- Support detailed system configuration, workflow development, issue resolution, and testing to meet business requirements.
- Support SIT, UAT, cutover activities, and testing sign-off.
- Train end users on solution functionality and business process changes.
- Deliver assigned work independently while collaborating with project leadership and cross-functional teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, MIS, business, finance, or related field preferred.
- Solid knowledge of business processes and their integration with SAP systems, with emphasis on SAP TRM.
- 5+ years leading or supporting complex SAP engagements across explore, design, delivery, and testing phases.
- Ability to translate business requirements into system and process solutions.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Hands-on SAP TRM experience with financial derivatives integrations.
- Experience with SAP IS-OIL and Gas and soft commodity processes supported by SAP ACM.
- Experience with SAP Commodity Management and Risk Management in oil, gas, energy trading, or commodity-focused environments.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
- Background supporting processes across commodity-based industries.
