Summary
Responsibilities
- Review functional and non-functional requirements to ensure complete and effective test coverage.
- Create detailed manual test cases and end-to-end test scenarios for complex financial workflows and user journeys.
- Organize and manage test assets in qTest to support efficient testing and traceable audit records.
- Execute manual testing across system, regression, integration, continuity, and user acceptance testing cycles.
- Capture and maintain clear execution evidence, system logs, test results, and supporting artifacts.
- Identify, document, triage, and track defects in Jira with clear steps to reproduce and supporting screenshots.
- Link defects to test cases in qTest to maintain traceability and a transparent testing history.
- Collaborate with configurators, super users, developers, and test leadership to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Support test planning, test strategy alignment, environment readiness, and testing documentation throughout the STLC.
- Prepare status dashboards, summaries, and reports that communicate progress, risks, and results to stakeholders.
- Identify test cases that may be suitable for future automation efforts.
- Support testing efforts related to virtualization, test automation, and performance engineering as part of ongoing team activities.
- 10+ years of experience in finance and accounting-related environments.
- Strong background in manual testing with an emphasis on functional, domain-driven, and structured test execution.
- Experience with treasury management systems, preferably GTreasury or Ripple Treasury.
- Knowledge of bank connectivity and enterprise ERP platforms such as Oracle PeopleSoft or on-premise ERP solutions.
- Hands-on experience with qTest and Jira.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks, test planning, and the full software testing lifecycle.
- Understanding of Agile and Waterfall delivery methods and CI/CD concepts.
- Ability to communicate technical issues clearly across technical, business, and leadership audiences.
- Strong documentation, analysis, and defect reporting skills.
- Ability to work closely with testing teams and contribute to collaborative problem-solving.
- Willingness to work on-site according to the program schedule.
- Flexibility to support overtime when needed to assist team activities.
- Exposure to test automation tools and concepts, including Playwright.
- Experience with performance testing tools such as NeoLoad or JMeter.
- Familiarity with service virtualization tools.
- Knowledge of TypeScript, Java, or Python.
- Experience with additional testing tools such as JUnit, TestNG, or TestComplete.
- Experience supporting F&A application testing and related testing strategy documentation.
- Experience working in environments that emphasize structured test enablement and reusable testing artifacts.
