We are seeking a Back End Node.js Engineer with strong hands-on experience building scalable web applications and integrating AI-powered capabilities into enterprise systems. This role will support high-impact product initiatives and requires a strong background in Node.js, TypeScript/JavaScript, APIs, distributed systems, and hands-on AI integration. Ideal candidates should have experience working with LLM APIs, RAG workflows, vector search, prompt orchestration, and AI-enabled application features.

responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Node.js, React, TypeScript/JavaScript, REST APIs, and GraphQL.
- Build backend services, APIs, and microservices that support high-volume enterprise applications.
- Integrate AI-powered features into product workflows using LLM APIs, RAG, embeddings, vector search, prompt orchestration, and response validation.
- Collaborate with product, frontend, backend, AI, and platform teams to deliver reliable customer-facing application features.
- Develop reusable UI components, API integrations, and backend services that support performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Implement caching, logging, monitoring, error handling, testing, and CI/CD best practices.
- Review and validate AI-generated code or AI-generated outputs to ensure quality, security, reliability, and production readiness.
- Troubleshoot production issues, optimize application performance, and support ongoing platform improvements.
qualifications:
7+ years of software engineering experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, REST APIs, and GraphQL.
Experience building scalable backend services, APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
Hands-on experience integrating AI/GenAI capabilities into applications, such as LLM APIs, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, semantic search, prompt engineering, or AI workflow automation.
Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
Experience with caching, testing, debugging, monitoring, and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong understanding of production-ready code, code reviews, performance optimization, and secure development practices.
Experience with eCommerce or large-scale enterprise applications is a plus.
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally in an Agile environment.
