Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Teamcenter Solution Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Siemens Teamcenter PLM solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in PLM architecture, Teamcenter customization, system integrations, and enterprise-scale deployments.

The architect will collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and IT leadership to design scalable PLM solutions that support product lifecycle management, engineering processes, and digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

PLM Architecture & Solution Design

• Design and implement enterprise PLM architecture using Siemens Teamcenter.

• Lead solution design for Teamcenter modules such as PDM, BOM management, workflow, change management, and document management.

• Define system architecture, integrations, and deployment strategies.

Teamcenter Implementation & Customization

• Configure and customize Teamcenter components including BMIDE, Active Workspace, Workflow Designer, and Access Manager.

• Lead upgrades, migrations, and system enhancements.

• Develop and review customizations using ITK, SOA, and Teamcenter APIs.

Integration & System Architecture

• Design integrations between Teamcenter and enterprise systems such as:

  • ERP systems (SAP / Oracle)

  • CAD tools (NX, CATIA, SolidWorks)

  • Manufacturing and engineering systems

• Define data exchange models and integration architecture.

Technical Leadership

• Provide technical leadership to PLM development teams.

• Review solution architecture and ensure adherence to best practices and performance standards.

• Support troubleshooting of complex Teamcenter issues.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work with engineering, product development, IT, and business teams to understand PLM requirements.

• Translate business requirements into scalable PLM solutions.

• Lead architecture discussions and design reviews.

Performance, Security & Governance

• Ensure scalability, security, and high availability of Teamcenter systems.

• Establish PLM governance standards and best practices.

• Optimize system performance and data management strategies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• 10+ years of experience in PLM implementation and architecture.

• Strong expertise in Siemens Teamcenter architecture and customization.

• Experience with BMIDE, Active Workspace, Workflow Designer, and Access Manager.

• Experience with Teamcenter integrations using SOA / ITK / REST APIs.

• Knowledge of CAD integrations (NX, CATIA, SolidWorks).

• Experience integrating Teamcenter with ERP systems (SAP / Oracle).

• Strong understanding of PLM data models, workflows, and lifecycle management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Teamcenter upgrades and migration projects.

• Knowledge of cloud deployment or hybrid PLM architectures.

• Experience in automotive, aerospace, or manufacturing industries.

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD for PLM systems.

• Siemens Teamcenter certifications.
