Description: Our client is currently seeking a MuleSoft Architect (W2)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Design, build, and govern enterprise integrations using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including modern API-led, event-driven, and AI-enabled architectures.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentor developers, and ensure solutions meet performance, security, and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable integration solutions.
  • Architect and develop System, Process, and Experience APIs using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
  • Design and implement integrations with Salesforce, NetSuite, Rippling, Sophos, Arena, and other critical SaaS and legacy systems.
  • Build OCR capabilities and related integrations leveraging the MuleSoft Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) platform and its AI features.
  • Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and optimize platform performance, logging, and security.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, monitoring, and alerting processes.
  • Establish and maintain a strong foundation for the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform to support future growth and scalability.
  • Ensure secure credential management, encryption, and adherence to key compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, SOX).
  • Evaluate, discover, and implement MuleSoft AI capabilities to address critical business and integration needs.
Minimum Qualifications
Education, Experience, and Training
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with the MuleSoft platform and enterprise integrations is required.
  • Working knowledge or experience with MuleSoft Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • 4+ years of integration experience (APIs and microservices), including 3+ years of hands-on MuleSoft experience.
  • Strong knowledge of REST and SOAP services, RAML, API-led connectivity, and Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Experience with DevOps practices, GitHub or Bitbucket, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based or SaaS integrations.
  • MuleSoft Developer and/or Architect certifications preferred.
