The manager will work across Digital Workplace services, including Microsoft 365, endpoint technology, IT service management, and employee support, to ensure new solutions are tested, documented, and ready for successful adoption.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a small IT User Experience team, including direct-report supervision, performance management, training, and day-to-day priorities.
- Conduct and coordinate hands-on usability testing, UAT, edge-case evaluation, and deployment-readiness activities for new employee-facing technologies.
- Partner with IT teams, project managers, and business stakeholders to identify usability concerns, resolve deployment issues, and ensure support teams are prepared before production rollout.
- Develop technical training, knowledge base documentation, user communications, and adoption resources to help employees successfully use new systems and services.
- Advocate for user experience considerations with department leaders and IT stakeholders, using employee feedback, research, and testing results to improve technology decisions and service delivery.
Required Experience
- 6+ years of experience in IT service delivery, technical testing and deployments, technical project leadership, process development, or related technology functions.
- Demonstrated experience directly supervising employees, including day-to-day team leadership and staff development.
- Hands-on experience evaluating user experiences, conducting usability testing and UAT, and identifying issues that could affect successful technology deployments.
- Experience supporting workplace technology adoption through technical training, change management, documentation, and support-team preparation.
- Experience collaborating with department leadership and technical stakeholders to communicate user needs, influence decisions, and improve technology outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in business, management, a technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with Microsoft 365, endpoint management, IT asset management, or enterprise IT service delivery environments.
- Familiarity with Jira, ServiceNow, and IT service management practices.
- ITIL or project management certification.
