We are looking for Senior Dynatrace Engineer for our client in Atlanta, GA

Job Title: Senior Dynatrace Engineer

Job Location: Atlanta, GA

Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

Configure, maintain, and optimize monitoring solutions using Dynatrace.
Enable end to end visibility across infrastructure, systems, and applications.
Develop dashboards, alerts, and health checks to ensure system reliability.
Monitor performance and availability while minimizing false alerts.
Support monitoring across servers, virtual environments, and cloud platforms.
Monitor databases, middleware, and network components.
Collaborate with infrastructure and cloud teams to identify trends and capacity needs.
Proactively identify and resolve issues before impacting production.
Monitor application performance, transaction flows, and user experience.
Support synthetic and real user monitoring.
Assist in troubleshooting performance issues at application and system levels.
Participate in incident response and root cause analysis.
Identify monitoring gaps and enhance observability practices.
Improve monitoring standards, documentation, and alert strategies.
Support integration with IT service management platforms.

Requirements/Must Have:

Strong experience with Dynatrace or similar application performance monitoring tools.
Experience monitoring infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments.
Knowledge of Windows and Linux servers and virtual environments.
Understanding of networking concepts such as DNS, TCP IP, and load balancing.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate effectively.

Experience:

5 plus years of experience in systems engineering, infrastructure support, or monitoring roles.
5 plus years of hands on experience with Dynatrace or similar tools.

Responsibilities:

Maintain and optimize monitoring systems and tools.
Provide insights during incident response and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with teams to improve system performance and reliability.
Identify and address monitoring gaps.
Support continuous improvement of monitoring practices.

Skills:

Application and infrastructure monitoring.
Dynatrace and observability tools.
Cloud and virtualization platforms.
Networking fundamentals.
Scripting and automation.
Problem solving and analysis.

Qualification And Education:

Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
Experience with scripting tools such as PowerShell or Bash is preferred.
Familiarity with Kubernetes and container monitoring is preferred.
Knowledge of ITIL practices and regulated environments is preferred.
