Job Description
We are seeking a Scrum Master to join our dynamic team supporting Project WARC starting in July. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Scrum, Kanban, and Agile delivery practices and a proven ability to coach teams, remove impediments, and drive predictable, value-focused outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Scrum and Kanban ceremonies and ensure adherence to Agile principles.
- Maintain a healthy product backlog and clear definition of done in partnership with Product and Process Owners.
- Coach teams on Agile values, roles, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Identify and remove impediments, escalating appropriately while protecting team focus.
- Track progress and delivery metrics to enable timely and predictable delivery.
- Facilitate clear communication between teams and stakeholders and align expectations.
- Introduce Agile best practices and support experimentation through data-driven decisions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
- Proficiency with JIRA and related Agile tools.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, conflict-resolution, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to coach teams with varying Agile maturity and influence without authority.
- Understanding of the product development lifecycle and basic technical concepts.
- Experience level: 2-5+ years in Agile or Scrum roles with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM I/II), or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM).
- Certified Agile Coach (ICP-ACC) or similar Agile coaching certification.
