Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Guidewire Technical Lead to lead the design, development, and delivery of Guidewire PolicyCenter solutions. The ideal candidate will provide hands-on technical leadership in configuration, Gosu development, integrations, and solution architecture while mentoring development teams and ensuring scalable, high-quality implementations within the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of Guidewire PolicyCenter solutions.
• Provide technical leadership for Guidewire configuration, customization, and integrations.
• Design and develop PCFs, business rules, data models, and GUnit tests.
• Develop and support integrations using REST/SOAP services, message queues, and batch processes.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver business requirements.
• Lead cloud migration initiatives, including PolicyCenter SaaS implementations and on-premises to SaaS migrations.
• Integrate Guidewire PolicyCenter with external systems, portals, and digital platforms.
• Mentor and guide development teams while ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and drive successful project delivery.

Required Experience

• Extensive experience as a Guidewire Configuration Technical Lead.
• ACE Certified in Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration (Mandatory).
• Experience implementing Guidewire PolicyCenter for Tier-1 insurance carriers in the United States.
• Minimum of two full lifecycle Guidewire PolicyCenter implementations in Personal Lines or Commercial Lines.
• Hands-on experience implementing PolicyCenter V10 in a SaaS environment or migrating on-premises/self-managed PolicyCenter implementations to the Guidewire Cloud platform.
• Strong experience with Guidewire Core Configuration.
• Experience designing and developing PCFs, business rules, data models, and GUnit testing.
• Experience integrating Guidewire PolicyCenter with external custom portals and third-party systems.
• Experience working with Guidewire Cloud Data Access Platform (CDAP).
• Strong hands-on experience with Gosu, REST services, message queues, and batch processing.
• Strong Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain expertise.
• Experience implementing enterprise integrations and digital transformation initiatives across multiple engagements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Guidewire certifications.
• Exposure to Guidewire BillingCenter and ClaimCenter.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in large-scale enterprise insurance environments.
