We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Permanent Director of Quality Assurance to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This critical role will oversee all aspects of our quality assurance program, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality control, process improvement, and corrective action reports, as well as demonstrated leadership and management capabilities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to drive continuous improvement and uphold our commitment to delivering superior quality products.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the implementation, development, and maintenance of the company's Quality Management System (QMS).
2. Develop and implement quality control methodologies to enhance the efficiency of processes and improve product quality.
3. Direct the analysis of product quality and reliability reports, using this data to drive process improvement.
4. Manage the Corrective Action Report (CAR) and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes, ensuring timely resolution of quality issues.
5. Lead and mentor a team of quality assurance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
6. Collaborate with other department heads to set quality benchmarks and standards.
7. Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
8. Develop and monitor the quality assurance budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
9. Keep abreast of latest quality assurance best practices, regulations, and industry standards, integrating these into company processes where applicable.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Assurance leadership role within the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience with Corrective Action Report (CAR), CAPA, Quality Control, and Process Improvement.
4. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
5. Excellent knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and regulations.
6. Demonstrated ability to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
8. Proficient in the use of quality assurance software and related tools.
9. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
10. Certification in Quality Management or a related field is preferred.
