Job Overview This role serves as the Senior Technology product owner for global digital experience web and marketing systems, partnering closely with Marketing, Commercial, and Digital experience teams to deliver scalable, compliant, and high-impact technology solutions. The role is accountable for technical product strategy, roadmap execution, and operationalization across digital marketing platforms that enable web and digital customer engagement, campaign execution, analytics, and growth. This is a highly visible role that bridges business strategy and digital technology delivery within a complex, regulated environment and reports into the DePuy Synthes Technology organization.
Key Responsibilities - Own and evolve the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for global marketing technology platforms, ensuring alignment with commercial strategy and business priorities.
- Partner with Marketing, Commercial, Digital, and Data stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable, secure, and compliant technology solutions.
- Lead end-to-end product lifecycle management, from ideation and prioritization through delivery, adoption, and ongoing optimization.
- Govern platform enhancements and integrations, ensuring architectural alignment, data integrity, and interoperability across the commercial technology ecosystem.
- Drive value realization by defining success metrics, tracking outcomes, and continuously improving user experience and business impact.
- Lead the application of AI, advanced analytics, and automation to modernize commercial platforms, enhancing customer engagement, pricing and revenue optimization, and data-driven decision-making while driving scalable and compliant commercial execution across sales, marketing, and customer operations.
- Manage vendor and partner relationships, including performance management, roadmap alignment, and contract governance.
- Ensure solutions comply with enterprise security, privacy, regulatory, and quality standards applicable to medical technology and marketing systems.
- Lead and mentor product owners and delivery teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications Education
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (required).
- Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
Experience and Skills Required:
- 8-10 years of progressive experience in IT, digital, or commercial technology roles, with significant experience owning or managing enterprise digital experience, web, or other marketing platforms.
- Demonstrated technical skills including experience with headless CMS platforms, marketing automation platforms, CRM, customer data platforms (CDP), integrations, APIs, and cloud-based enterprise systems.
- Strong business skills, including ability to translate marketing, digital, and commercial strategies into technology roadmaps, define value cases, and prioritize investments based on business impact.
- Proven leadership skills managing cross-functional teams, influencing senior stakeholders, and driving alignment across IT, Marketing, and Commercial organizations.
- Experience working in agile or hybrid delivery models, including backlog management, platform management, sprint planning/prioritization, and product governance.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Preferred:
- Experience supporting global or multi-region marketing organizations in a regulated industry (medical devices, life sciences, or healthcare preferred).
- Hands-on experience with commercial data, SEO/AEO/analytics, and customer engagement measurement capabilities.
- Prior people management experience, including coaching and developing digital product owners or technology professionals.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture standards, data privacy regulations, and information security practices.
Other: - Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
- Travel: Up to 15%, domestic and occasional international.
- Certifications (preferred): Agile Product Owner, SAFe, or equivalent product management certifications, web/digital
The expected base pay range for this position is $122,000.00 to $211,025.00.
