Job Description/ Roles & Responsibilities
Must have Technical/Functional Skills
1. Oracle EBS R12 (12.1/12.2) SCM internals; strong in OM, INV, WSH, PO, BOM, WIP, CST, QA.
2. CEMLI architecture; PL/SQL optimization; BI Publisher, Oracle Reports; OAF/Java customizations; Forms personalization; Workflows.
3. 12.2 online patching (adop), editioning/EBR concepts, driver/file management.
4. Integrations: ISG (REST/SOAP), ORDS for REST, EDI (X12/EDIFACT), 3PL/TMS, file-based and middleware patterns (SOA/OIC/Mule/Kafka).
5. Performance: AWR/ASH, SQL Profiles, partitioning; concurrent manager tuning.
6. DB & App: Oracle DB 12c/19c, WebLogic, EBS tech stack administration concepts (working knowledge).
7. DevOps & Governance: Git, code review, build pipelines, migration tools (Kintana/ServiceNow), change control, audit readiness.
Good to have skills:
1. Exposure to ASCP/Demantra, EAM, Costing close performance improvements.
2. Experience with spin‑offs/divestitures: data carve‑out, object rationalization, cutover orchestration.
3. Cloud/OCI fundamentals (object storage, OAC, GoldenGate/ODI), security (IDCS/SSO).
4. Knowledge of tax engines (Vertex), shipping systems (FedEx/UPS/Loftware), and finance touchpoints (AR/AP/GL impacts).
Roles & Responsibilities:
Architecture & Solution Design
1. Define and govern target technical architecture for Oracle EBS R12 SCM (OM, INV, WSH, PO, BOM, WIP, CST, QA, ASCP).
2. Lead fit–gap, solution blueprints, and HLD/LLD for RICEW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows).
3. Establish coding standards (PL/SQL, OAF/Java, Oracle Forms, BI Publisher, Oracle Reports) and reusable patterns.
4. Guide 12.2.x online patching (adop) compliance: file system standards, editioning views, EBR-safe objects.
Integrations & Data
1. Architect integrations with 3PLs/Carriers, EDI (850/855/856/810), TMS/WMS, MES, CRM, Tax, Banking.
2. Use appropriate options: DB links, AQ/Advanced Queues, ISG (Integrated SOA Gateway), REST via ORDS, Web services, flat files, or middleware (SOA/OIC/Mulesoft).
3. Own data migration strategy (items, BOM, routings, on-hand, suppliers/customers, open orders/POs, pricing, banks).
4. Ensure data quality, idempotency, and reconciliation frameworks; design error handling & reprocessing.
