Are you ready for your next challenge as a Senior Project Manager within the Data Center Construction industry?
In this role, you will lead a team to manage the construction of large-scale Data Centers. Reporting to a Director or Vice President. You will oversee project management, estimating, billing, collections, team development.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
?\tCompliance with company, client, and project policies
?\tJob site safety and adherence to company national policies
?\tGenerate estimates, review project proposals
?\tEstablish project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
?\tSupervise project execution to meet design, budget, and schedule requirements
?\tCollaborate with the customer to clarify and meet expectations before, during, and after project completion
?\tCoordinate activities of staff and subcontractors
?\tWork directly with vendors to ensure timely procurement and delivery
?\tLead efforts for billing early and collecting often
?\tConduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address issues
?\tDevelop and maintain strong client and employee relationships
?\tAssist leadership in the planning of future labor/material needs of the project
?\tProvide consistent reports and updates to senior management
?\tForecast financial direction to course correct as needed
?\tDevelop project scopes and budgets
?\tManage RFPs and Change Management Forms
?\tMentor subordinates to support their development
?\tInternal drive for continuous growth both personally and professionally
Education & Experience
REQUIRED
?\t10+ years of Construction Project Management experience
?\t5+ years of Electrical Project Management for large scale, complex IT/Telecommunications Infrastructure projects, including Data Centers installations
?\tExperience with Data Center electrical distribution systems, cabling, and white space fit-out
?\tExperience with retrofits in operational facilities and cross-discipline critical facility systems
?\tStrong computer skills and quick to learn new systems
?\tAbility to work calmly under deadlines and external pressure
?\tCommitment to continuous improvement of communication, organization and leadership skills
?\tEffective scheduling and delegation to accomplish tasks on time
?\tTactful conflict resolution and problem solving abilities
PREFERRED
?\tMission Critical Project experience
?\tBachelor?s degree in a related field (Project Management, Construction Management, Business, Engineering, etc.), paired with industry experience OR an overall appropriate combination of certification(s), experience, and education (journeyman or master electrician?s license)
?\tProject Management Professional (PMP) or PMI-Scheduling Professional (SP)
?\tExperience with Google Suite, Salesforce, and ConEst
