Senior Full Stack Developer (Java + Angular)

Location: McLean, VA (Hybrid/Onsite)
Duration: 6 Months (Possible Extension)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to support a key financial initiative focused on mortgage portfolio analytics. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to design, develop, and deliver scalable full-stack applications.

This role requires strong backend expertise in Java and Spring, along with working knowledge of Angular for frontend development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications
• Build and enhance RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot
• Collaborate with business partners to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Develop and support Angular-based UI components
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues

Required Qualifications:

• 8–10+ years of experience in software development
• Strong hands-on experience with Java 8+ and Spring Framework (Spring Boot)
• Experience building RESTful APIs
• Solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Hands-on or working experience with Angular and TypeScript
• Experience with Git (GitHub/GitLab) for version control
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder interaction skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in financial services or mortgage domain
• Knowledge of ORM frameworks (Hibernate/JPA)
• Experience with JUnit and Mockito for unit testing
• Familiarity with performance tuning and monitoring tools
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
