Job Summary:
Looking for an AS/400 RPG Developer with experience in IBM i (AS/400) application development and support. The candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining business applications using RPG and related technologies.Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain applications using RPG IV/RPGLE and CL.
- Analyze business requirements and implement solutions.
- Work with DB2/400 databases and SQL queries.
- Perform coding, testing, debugging, and production support.
- Fix application issues and enhance existing programs.
- Coordinate with business users and project teams.
- Prepare technical documentation.
Required Skills
- Experience in AS/400 (IBM i) environment.
- Knowledge of RPG IV, RPGLE, CL/CLLE.
- Experience with DB2/400 and SQL.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with API/Web Services integration.
- Knowledge of Agile methodology.
- Banking, Financial Services, or Retail domain experience.
