Role: Salesforce Engineer

Key Responsibilities

·        Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments

·        Manage source control (Git) and branching strategies

·        Automate deployments using Salesforce DX

·        Coordinate releases across Dev, QA, UAT, and Production orgs

·        Resolve deployment conflicts and metadata dependencies

·        Enforce code quality, test coverage, and governance standards

·        Implement rollback and recovery strategies

·        Monitor and optimize deployment performance

·        Collaborate with Salesforce Developers, Admins, QA, and Product teams

·        Maintain documentation for release processes and environments

Required Skills & Qualifications

Salesforce

·        Strong experience with Salesforce DX (SFDX)

·        Knowledge of Apex, LWC, and Salesforce metadata

·        Understanding of Salesforce environments (sandboxes, scratch orgs)

·        Familiarity with deployment methods and limitations

DevOps & Tools

·        Hands-on experience with Git (GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket)

·        Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)

·        Knowledge of DevOps tools like Copado, Gearset, AutoRABIT, or Flosum

·        Experience with YAML, Bash, or scripting languages

·        Understanding of release management and version control

Preferred Qualifications

·        Salesforce Platform Developer I/II certification

·        Experience in enterprise Salesforce orgs

·        Knowledge of static code analysis tools (PMD, CodeScan)

·        Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies

·        Experience with multi-org deployment strategies
