Lead React Native Developer

We are looking for a Lead React Native Engineer to support our client in migrating from a native mobile application to React Native Elements (brownfield migration). This role is ideal for an engineer with solid React Native experience who enjoys hands-on development and collaborating with a team to ensure a smooth transition.

Responsibilities

• Migrate BDUI components from mobile native and web rendering engines to React Native engine
• Add analytics to BDUI components
• Create cross-platform (iOS, Android, Web) components from Design System
• Write unit and integration tests
• Develop UI that meets accessibility requirements

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in React Native development, ideally with exposure to migrating from native applications
• Willingness to learn and contribute to architectural decisions in collaboration with senior and principal engineers
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies

Nice to have

• Good understanding of iOS and Android native development (Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, Java) and how React Native interacts with native code
• Proficiency in React Strict Dom
• Experience in Backend Driven UI (BDUI)
• Experience in Micro-Frontend Architecture
