PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $130-$135 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.

Position Type: Full Time Contract
Duration: 08 months
Location: Palm Springs, CA 92262
As a Network Engineer, you will:
- Lead network architecture, design, testing, and implementation for a large complex, high profile, event-based network.
- Work across a large team of implementation and deployment engineers to ensure that designs are accurate, documented properly, and fully tested prior to deployment.
- Work as part of the network operations center following deployment during key events to manage tickets, escalations, and changes.
- Work with project managers and project leadership to communicate status and updates in an accurate and timely manner.
- Coordinate with other technology towers for testing and deployment including teams focused on security, ISE, DHCP, Network Monitoring, and field ops.
- Expert knowledge of Cisco route/switch(9300, 9500, 9800) for both core and access devices including BGP, VRF design, VLAN design, QoS, etc.
- Working knowledge of Palo Alto Firewall networking, capabilities, and design criteria.
- Working knowledge of Multicast, DDoS products and configurations, ISE, and DNS/DHCP.
- Working knowledge of deploying within AWS and AZURE cloud environments.
- Expert collaboration and communication skills, working well in a complex and dynamic environment.
- Maintain accurate, detailed, network documentation.
- Travel, primarily to east coast locations (25% 50%).
- Prior experience in event-based networks.
Ideal candidate will have
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Certifications from Cisco including CCIEs would be preferred. Cloud or Palo Alto certifications would be good.
