Our Opportunity Summary:
The Global Facilities Technology Team is seeking an engineer to provide high-quality engineering services for the design, planning, construction, operation, and maintenance of subject-area facilities systems supporting semiconductor manufacturing across Micron's global network. This role focuses on system capacity planning, design review, and technical leadership for U.S. sites, ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and corporate specifications.

What's Encouraged Daily:
Design and System Planning
Develop and maintain equipment, component specifications, and corporate standards
Ensure system designs support safe operation, maintenance, and material compatibility
Verify alignment with all applicable codes, standards, and regulations
Review network data records for capacity, utilization, and diversity factor assumptions
Support scenario-based capacity assessments and system status reviews
Evaluate infrastructure modification scopes for accuracy and impact
Project Support
Provide engineering standards and specifications to design firms
Review design packages and deliver documented technical feedback
Support cost and schedule estimates for facilities infrastructure projects
Coordinate with Facilities, Design, Construction, Procurement, and Manufacturing partners
Provide engineering oversight during construction, as needed
Ensure transition protocols are followed and issues are resolved promptly
Technical Leadership and Expertise
Serve as the technical domain expert for facility systems within assigned subject area
Analyze system performance to identify improvements in efficiency, reliability, and cost
Conduct risk assessments, including failure mode and effects analysis
Recommend solutions to eliminate single points of failure and mitigate operational risk
Own and maintain Best Known Methods (BKMs) for assigned systems
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant theories, instrumentation principles, and equipment operations
How To Qualify:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent experience
10+ years of experience working with High Purity Bulk and/or Specialty Gas systems
Ability to travel internationally up to 25%

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:
$107,000.00 - $227,000.00 a year
Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations.
