About the Role
We are seeking a visionary Lead Engineer to architect and build the next generation of marketing technology. In this role, you'll lead a dedicated Product Development (POD) team focused on reimagining how brands connect with customers through intelligent, real-time engagement systems.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Architecture
Lead end-to-end engineering initiatives across marketing orchestration, real-time data processing, and customer activation pipelines
Architect scalable, event-driven systems that power personalized marketing experiences and automated customer journeys
Apply modern design patterns to ensure reliability, maintainability, and scalability across distributed systems
Engineering & Development
Design and implement orchestration workflows using Adobe Campaign (or equivalent enterprise marketing tools)
Build high-performance data applications using Scala, Databricks, Spark SQL, Spark Streaming, and Python
Develop and optimize cloud-native data pipelines on Azure, including ADF-based ingestion, transformation, and orchestration
Drive AI-assisted engineering practices including Vibe Coding and generative AI development accelerators
Collaboration & Team Development
Partner with product managers, marketing strategists, and data scientists to translate business needs into robust technical solutions
Mentor engineers, elevate coding standards, and champion operational excellence within the POD
Bridge the gap between technical complexity and business impact—translating architecture decisions into tangible customer outcomes
Required Skills & Experience
MarTech & Orchestration
Deep expertise with enterprise marketing platforms—hands-on experience with Adobe Campaign or similar tools (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, Oracle Responsys)
Understanding of customer journey orchestration, segmentation, and real-time decisioning
Big Data Engineering
Strong proficiency in Scala, Databricks, Spark SQL, Spark Streaming, and Python
Experience building high-volume data pipelines that power customer engagement use cases
Cloud & Architecture
Hands-on experience with Azure services, particularly Azure Data Factory (ADF) , Event Hubs, and related data services
Advanced system design capabilities including event-driven architectures, stream processing, and distributed systems patterns
Modern Development Practices
Experience with AI-augmented development (Vibe Coding, GitHub Copilot, or similar)
Familiarity with DevOps practices: CI/CD, observability, infrastructure as code, automated testing
Leadership & Communication
Proven ability to lead engineering teams in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
Strong stakeholder management skills—able to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in large-scale marketing ecosystems—ESP, CDP, personalization engines, real-time decisioning platforms
Background in high-volume data processing supporting customer engagement or growth marketing
Exposure to AI/ML pipelines for personalization, audience segmentation, or content automation
Familiarity with modern data architecture (data mesh, Lakehouse, real-time analytics)
