• Certifications:
  • MUST HAVE:
  • DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II/8140 Computing Environment (CE) Certification as determined by the Program Manager is required prior to support on contract.
  • IAT II 8570/8140 Baseline Certification IAT-II (Security+)
  • Computing Environment certification: MS, RHEL or CCNA (MUST HAVE AT LEAST ONE)

• Requirements:
  • Strong expertise in various IT domains, such as Networking and Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration
  • Ability to perform in high-paced, mission-critical environments with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with tools like Microsoft Services (SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Visio, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) software and tools like AutoCAD is preferred.
  • Knowledge of cabling standards, power requirements and HVAC requirements and understand how they may impact the environment.

• Responsibilities:
  • Advise and Lead: Develop long-term strategies for datacenter growth, including capacity planning for space, power, and cooling, and propose them to Government leadership. Lead incident responses for facility or infrastructure-related issues to minimize downtime and business impact.
  • Monitor and Optimize: Utilize Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) software to enhance resource utilization, performance, and energy efficiency to monitor critical systems. That include power (UPSs, PDUs, generators), cooling (HVAC, CRAC units), fire suppression, and building management systems (BMS). .
  • Implement and Enforce: Develop, implement, and enforce operational best practices and security protocols for the datacenter environment.
  • Oversee Preventive Maintenance: Implement and manage a comprehensive preventive maintenance program to ensure the longevity, reliability, and resiliency of all infrastructure equipment.
  • Document and Maintain: Maintain meticulous documentation of all systems and operations, including asset management, network layouts, administration and procedures.
  • Manage Vendors: Build and maintain relationships with external vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs) and quality standards.
  • Project Leadership: Oversee infrastructure upgrades, retrofits, and new buildouts, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • System and Workflow Oversight: Oversee system allocations, functional workflows, and technical processes to support optimized performance.
