Description

• The Full- stack Software Developer - Advanced independently delivers functionality across the full application stack, including robust frontend interfaces, backend services, and the supporting cloud infrastructure.
• This role applies strong understanding of modern UI frameworks, API design, authentication flows, and containerized or cloud- native hosting environments such as MS Azure.
• Advanced developers design and implement complex features, refactor legacy components, optimize application performance, and troubleshoot issues across distributed systems.
• They are trusted to serve as the technical lead for complex applications, driving solution design, ensuring adherence to software development best practices, and coordinating contributions from other developers.

Responsibilities

• Exhibits functional proficiency in each domain (frontend, backend, & infrastructure)
• Creates responsive frontend web pages which scale across many different device sizes and browsers
• Considers the advantages / disadvantages of SQL and NoSQL databases and other storing relationships for each application use case and chooses accordingly
• Creates and supports Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI / CD) pipelines for the solutions they create
• Deploys simple software architectures (e.g. N-tier) to the cloud using Platform-as-a-Service computing
• Actively conducts application threat modeling against a solution to close security gaps
• Well-versed in both business logic and user experience, meaning they are not only well-equipped to get hands on, but can also guide and consult on strategy too
