Job Overview:
Wipro is seeking a PLM functional Consultant with expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud PLM and strong QA testing capabilities to support our client. You will configure Oracle Cloud PLM solutions, testing initiatives and ensure quality delivery of product lifecycle processes
This role bridges Functional PLM consulting with quality assurance and lifecycle management standards
The candidate should possess hands-on experience in testing non-Oracle PLM platforms such as Teamcenter or Agile PLM or similar.
Key responsibilities:
1. Analyze business and functional requirements and convert them into test scenarios, test cases and traceability artifacts for PLM applications.
2. Configure Oracle Cloud PLM modules including Item Management, Change Management, BOM, Quality and Compliance for hardware products.
3. Design functional solutions supporting New Product development and hardware lifecycle processes
4. Create functional design documents, process flows and configuration documentation aligned with standards
QA Testing (Critical Focus)
1. Work on System Integration testing, Oracle Patch testing and validation for Oracle Fusion PLM modules
2. Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases and test scripts for PLM. Functionalities supporting hardware lifecycle management
3. Execute functional, regression integration and performance testing for PLM configurations
4. Identify, document and track defects through tasks, ensure proper defect lifecycle management
5. Good communication skills for working with engineers, QA team and stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
1. Education: BE/BTECH/MCA or MBA
2. Experience: 3+ years in Product Hub/PLM
3. Core PLM Knowledge:
a. Hands-on experience with Oracle cloud PLM modules (item, Change, BOM, Quality, Compliance)
b. Understanding of PLM lifecycle processes and supply chain integration
4. QA Testing skills:
a. Strong experience in function testing, UAT, SIT
b. Knowledge of defect life cycle and testing methodologies
5. Technical Skills:
a. SQL knowledge for data validation
b. Familiarity with oracle fusion interfaces and integrations
6. Soft skills:
a. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
b. Strong Communication and documentation skills
c. Ability to work independently and in team environments
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Oracle Fusion PLM certification
2. Knowledge of Redwood UX (Oracle Fusion’s modern UI) and OTBI reporting
3. Familiarity with automation testing tools for PLM testing
4. Understanding of supply chain integration with PLM (Procurement, Inventory and Manufacturing)
