Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to design and lead enterprise data solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS, Databricks, Delta Lake, Snowflake, data modeling, and modern cloud-based data platforms.


Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement end-to-end data architecture solutions.
• Build scalable data pipelines, data models, and integration frameworks.
• Define data platform standards, architecture patterns, and best practices.
• Optimize data performance, storage, and query efficiency.
• Ensure data security, governance, and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with business and engineering teams to deliver data solutions.
• Support monitoring, reliability, and cost optimization initiatives.


Required Skills:

• 6+ years of Data Engineering or Data Architecture experience.
• Strong experience with AWS (required).
• Hands-on experience with Databricks and Delta Lake (required).
• Experience with Snowflake.
• Experience with BigID and Azure.
• Strong data modeling experience (Dimensional Modeling, Data Vault, Schema Design).
• Strong Python and SQL skills.
• Experience building enterprise-scale ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Experience with Spark, PySpark, Kafka, or Kinesis.
• Knowledge of data governance, security, IAM, and encryption.


Preferred Skills:

• Airflow, dbt, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes.
• AWS, Databricks, or Snowflake Certifications.
• Experience with data cataloging, lineage, and observability tools.
• Note: Candidates must be local to the Cincinnati/Louisville area and available for occasional onsite visits.
