As a Permanent Tube Mill Operator, you will be at the heart of our manufacturing operations, playing a crucial role in the production of high-quality tubing products. This is a hands-on role that requires an individual who is not afraid to get their hands dirty and is passionate about precision, quality, and efficiency. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where every day brings new challenges and opportunities. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on problem-solving, enjoys working with machinery, and has a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

1. Operate and maintain tube mill equipment to produce high-quality products in accordance with ASTM standards.
2. Monitor the tube mill process, adjusting settings as needed to ensure product quality and consistency.
3. Perform high frequency welding operations, ensuring all welds meet company and industry standards.
4. Use precision measuring tools to verify product dimensions and make necessary adjustments.
5. Carry out regular calibration of equipment to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
6. Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic repairs as needed.
7. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe work environment at all times.
8. Collaborate with other team members to optimize production efficiency.
9. Document production data, including output, quality checks, and equipment maintenance activities.
10. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing ideas and suggestions to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a tube mill operator role or similar position in a manufacturing environment.
2. Proven experience with ASTM standards, tube mill operations, high frequency welding, precision measuring, and calibration.
3. Strong technical skills, with the ability to operate and maintain complex machinery.
4. Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
5. High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to produce high-quality work under pressure.
6. Good physical stamina and dexterity, with the ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods.
7. Solid understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing setting.
8. Ability to work well in a team, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
9. Basic computer skills, with the ability to record and report production data accurately.
10. High school diploma or equivalent. Vocational or technical training in a related field would be an advantage.
