Position Description
Advertised Job Summary The Molinaroli College of Engineering and Computing (MCEC) is seeking a temporary hire to support operations within the Carolina Enclave for Secure Research (CESR), a controlled research environment that enables compliance with federal cybersecurity and data protection requirements. This position will assist CESR staff with day-to-day operational tasks that ensure secure, efficient user access and system management. The employee will also increases the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of our processes and technology through automation, observability, and modern engineering practices by designing tools, workflows, and systems that improve visibility, streamline operations, and enhance the resilience of services through use of APIs, scripting, and data integrations to build dashboards, monitoring, and reporting that support configuration management, improve efficiency, and enable data-driven decision making.
Qualifications - Position requires a bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science or related field. Experience maybe substituted for the required education.
