Summary

The Data Platform Engineering team supports CI/CD and infrastructure for the firm s integrated Data Fabric platform, a strategic asset that drives enterprise data operations.

The Data Platform Engineer will design, implement, and automate development and infrastructure pipelines, enabling scalable and reliable deployment of data systems and services. This role will collaborate with cloud engineers, data engineers, system administrators, and architects to leverage DevOps and cloud technologies for processing large-scale data workloads.

Key Responsibilities

CI/CD & Infrastructure Automation

  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for data infrastructure using Terraform and GitHub Actions

  • Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions for automated provisioning and deployment

  • Implement automated build, test, and release workflows for data platforms

Cloud & Data Platform Management

  • Deploy and manage AWS infrastructure including Lambda, EC2, and VPC

  • Support and optimize large-scale data platforms such as:

    • Amazon Redshift

    • Snowflake

    • AWS Glue

    • Apache Spark

    • Apache Iceberg

    • RDS

DevOps & Containerization

  • Implement and manage containerized environments using:

    • Docker

    • Amazon ECS and/or Kubernetes

  • Maintain development, testing, and automation tools for data engineering workflows

Collaboration & Support

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including cloud, data engineering, and architecture

  • Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and pipeline issues

  • Identify opportunities to improve automation, scalability, and reliability

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

  • 10+ years of DevOps or Platform Engineering experience

  • 5+ years of experience with:

    • Terraform

    • GitHub Actions

    • AWS Cloud (Lambda, EC2, VPC)

  • Strong experience with Git version control

  • Experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code
