Endur technical architecture with OpenLink Endur (Energy markets (power, gas, oil, LNG))

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly specialized Senior OpenLink Endur Consultant / Technical Architect with deep, hands-on experience in Endur to lead complex ETRM implementations and technical solution design. This role requires strong expertise across Endur functional configuration, system architecture, and custom development using JVS and OpenComponents.

The ideal candidate will act as a technical authority, partnering with front, middle, and back office stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize Endur solutions supporting trading, risk, and operations.

Key Responsibilities

Endur Implementation & Architecture

• Lead end-to-end OpenLink Endur ETRM implementations, upgrades, and migrations.

• Design and own Endur technical architecture, including integration patterns, environments, and performance strategy.

• Configure and extend Endur for energy, commodities, or financial trading use cases.

Functional & Deal Modeling

• Implement and customize deal templates, instruments, workflows, and lifecycle processing.

• Design complex deal modeling structures for physical and financial products.

• Configure market data, curves, pricing models, and valuation logic.

Technical Development

• Develop and maintain custom solutions using JVS (Java Value Script) and OpenComponents.

• Build and optimize Endur Managers (e.g., Trading, Risk, Scheduling, Accounting).

• Create interfaces for downstream systems (risk, settlements, ERP, reporting).

Required Skills & Experience

Mandatory

• 7+ years of hands-on OpenLink Endur experience.

• Deep expertise in ETRM implementations and configuration.

• Strong proficiency in:

  • Endur Managers

  • JVS / OpenComponents

  • Deal modeling and trade lifecycle

• Experience with physical and financial commodity products.

• Strong understanding of trading, risk, scheduling, settlements, and accounting.

Technical Stack

• Endur scripting and customization

• SQL / Oracle or SQL Server

• Unix/Linux environments

• Integration frameworks (REST, MQ, file-based feeds)

Nice to Have

• Experience with AVS, Report Builder, and OpenLink APIs

• Cloud deployments (AWS/Azure)

• Knowledge of energy markets (power, gas, oil, LNG)

• Prior experience in major trading houses or investment banks
