Energy Management Analyst supporting residential conservation programs and customer energy efficiency initiatives. This role combines
field audits, customer education, and program administration to promote safe, efficient energy use while ensuring compliance with Florida Administrative Code standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct residential energy audits to evaluate usage, appliances, HVAC systems, insulation, and ductwork
- Analyze energy consumption and deliver cost-saving recommendations to customers
- Perform attic inspections and qualify homes for insulation and ductwork incentive programs
- Educate customers on energy conservation programs, rates, and efficiency best practices
- Support low-income weatherization programs, including installation of energy-saving kits
- Inspect post-install work (insulation, duct repairs) and verify program compliance
- Resolve high bill inquiries using audit techniques and energy calculations
- Promote programs such as Zap Cap, Renewable Energy, and demand response initiatives
- Maintain accurate documentation using ERP/CRM systems and Excel-based reporting
- Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and customers to ensure program success
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2+ years of experience in energy management, utilities, or field-based technical roles
- Strong analytical skills with ability to perform energy calculations and data analysis
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, insulation, and residential construction preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record
