Software Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Chicago, IL that is seeking a Software Developer. This is high touch position with a notable amount of collaboration across product teams and stakeholders to define requirements and understand how they fit into the end objective.

Responsibilities:
* Participates in the technical design of application systems
* Develops and implements application systems by participating through the software development lifecycle from inception to delivery and beyond
* Writes clean, maintainable, and well-structured code, adhering to best practices and industry standards for Next.js development

REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience with Front-End Developer with a focus on building high-performance, accessible(A11y), and SEO-friendly web applications
* Proficient in NextJS, HTML5, CSS3, and Typescript, with a proven track record of increasing organic traffic by optimizing site structure, improving page speed, and implementing semantic markup
* Experience in Storybook to help us build and maintain a robust, reusable components and libraries
* Proficiency in crafting user interfaces with a proven ability to ensure alignment with design requirements
* Strong experience in building modular, independent React applications using Micro-frontend architecture

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
