Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Developer Platform/Product with a strong emphasis on Java 11 to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 7 10 years of experience in software development, focusing on building robust and scalable platforms and products. This role requires a deep understanding of Java 11 and its ecosystem, as well as a passion for developing high-quality software solutions that meet business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high performance applications using Java 11.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs in existing applications.
- Contribute to the architecture and design of scalable and maintainable systems.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance product offerings.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Java 11, including its features and libraries.
- Extensive experience with object oriented programming and design patterns.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of front end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7 10 years of professional experience in software development.
- Proven track record of delivering high quality software solutions on time.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote work environment.
