Genesis10 is currently seeking an AI / Data Engineer for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Pennington, NJ, and Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role requires the design, development, and implementation of data integration solutions and AI-driven architectures using modern technologies. The ideal candidate will have expertise in data engineering, real-time and batch processing, and AI/ML model deployment within containerized environments. This position involves collaboration with global teams to ensure successful deployments and drive innovation in highly scalable and secure environments. A hybrid schedule is required, with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite.
Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and implement data integration solutions and AI-driven architectures
- Collaborate across global teams to ensure successful deployments
- Drive innovation in highly scalable, secure, and regulated environments
Requirements: - 10+ years of demonstrable experience in Python development; Java experience is a plus
- Strong knowledge of Python and web API development frameworks like Spring, REST APIs, and RESTEASY
- Working knowledge of database technologies such as Redis and Oracle
- Experience with Linux OS and Windows
- Demonstrable expertise in various technical areas, including programming, network administration, and software installation and configuration
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with organizational capabilities
- Experience with IT project management methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum
- Familiarity with AI technologies (RAG and LLMs are a big plus)
- Experience with Generative AI model development (e.g., GPT, Llamaindex, langchain)
Desired skills: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field
- Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Knowledge of vector databases
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot, AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, and Azure
- Openshift container experience
- Relevant certifications such as Java Certified Professional (OCP)
- Knowledge of Nvidia Triton servers for LLMs
- Knowledge of container or cloud computing technologies (Red Hat OpenShift, Azure)
- Familiarity with agile software development methodologies
- Experience with CI/CD DevOps practices and tools (Git, Jenkins, Docker)
Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06 per hour
