Position Overview
· Looking for a highly experienced Content Management Lead Engineer to define and execute the next-generation content management strategy supporting advisor and investor digital experiences. This role combines deep expertise in enterprise content management platforms, content architecture, integration engineering, and emerging AI-driven content capabilities.
· The ideal candidate will drive the evolution of content management across advisor portals, investor experiences, marketing sites, client communications, and personalized digital journeys. Beyond traditional CMS implementations, this leader will establish the future vision for AI-assisted content creation, content governance, intelligent content automation, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), content metadata strategies, and enterprise-scale content operations.
· This role requires strong technical leadership, strategic thinking, and collaboration across business, marketing, digital product, architecture, compliance, and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Architecture
- Define and maintain the enterprise content management strategy for Wealth Management and Advisor Experience platforms.
- Design scalable content architectures supporting omnichannel delivery across web, mobile, advisor portals, client portals, and digital engagement platforms.
- Establish content models, taxonomy, metadata standards, content lifecycle management, and governance frameworks.
- Create a roadmap for transitioning from traditional content management approaches to AI-powered content ecosystems.
- Drive content reusability and modular content design principles across business channels.
CMS Platform Leadership
- Lead architecture, implementation, and modernization of enterprise CMS platforms such as Drupal, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Sitecore, Contentful, or similar solutions.
- Develop integration patterns between CMS platforms and CRM, Marketing Automation, Wealth Management applications, Customer Data Platforms, and digital experience platforms.
- Define API-first and headless CMS strategies supporting modern digital experiences.
- Establish best practices for content publishing, workflow automation, version control, and content governance.
- Evaluate emerging content technologies and recommend future-state platforms.
AI-Powered Content Innovation
- Define the vision and roadmap for AI-generated and AI-assisted content capabilities.
- Partner with AI, Digital, and Architecture teams to implement:
- Generative AI content creation
- Content summarization
- Personalized advisor communications
- Marketing content generation
- Intelligent content recommendations
- AI-powered search and knowledge discovery
- Conversational experiences
- Develop frameworks for human-in-the-loop content review and validation.
- Establish governance models for AI-generated content quality, compliance, explainability, and regulatory adherence.
- Design content repositories and knowledge frameworks that support RAG and AI copilots.
Integration & Engineering
- Design integrations between CMS platforms and:
- Wealth Management platforms
- Advisor workstations
- Marketing systems
- Salesforce Financial Services Cloud
- Customer identity and access management systems
- Data and analytics platforms
- AI and LLM platforms
- Lead API design and microservices architecture supporting content delivery and content services.
- Ensure high performance, scalability, reliability, and security of content platforms.
- Implement DevSecOps and CI/CD practices for content management solutions.
Governance, Compliance & Risk Management
- Establish content governance aligned with financial services regulatory requirements.
- Define content approval workflows supporting compliance, legal, marketing, and business stakeholders.
- Ensure content accessibility, auditability, retention policies, and security standards are maintained.
- Create controls around AI-generated content to meet regulatory and fiduciary obligations.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead and mentor content engineers, architects, and platform specialists.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Marketing, Advisor Experience teams, UX, Compliance, and Enterprise Architecture.
- Drive vendor evaluations, proof-of-concepts, and platform selection initiatives.
- Influence enterprise content strategy and digital transformation initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise content management, digital experience platforms, or content engineering.
- Strong experience implementing and integrating CMS platforms such as Drupal, Sitecore, AEM, Contentful, or similar solutions.
- Experience designing content services using API-first and headless architecture patterns.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures on Azure.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, microservices, event-driven integration patterns, and enterprise integration frameworks.
- Experience leading large-scale digital customer experience initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of content governance, content lifecycle management, and digital publishing workflows.
- Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within Wealth Management, Financial Services, Retirement, or Investment Management industries.
- Experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud integrations.
- Knowledge of SEC, FINRA, and financial content compliance requirements.
- Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, RAG architectures, vector databases, and AI orchestration platforms.
- Familiarity with AI governance frameworks and responsible AI principles.
- Experience implementing enterprise search and knowledge management platforms.
- Certification in CMS platforms, Cloud Technologies, or Enterprise Architecture frameworks.
