Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Tech Lead (AI) with strong hands-on expertise in Python, GenAI, NLP, and chatbot development to drive AI-powered transformation initiatives within the Wealth Management domain.

This role requires a hands-on technical leader who can actively code, perform code reviews, and lead onshore/offshore teams, delivering scalable, intelligent, and conversational AI solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Python-based backend services for NLP and chatbot applications
  • Lead development of GenAI solutions leveraging LLMs, RAG, and vector databases
  • Build and integrate AI-driven conversational platforms to enhance advisor and client experiences
  • Perform hands-on coding and code reviews, ensuring high-quality, scalable solutions
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Act as a bridge between onshore (NY) and offshore teams, ensuring alignment and delivery
  • Drive architecture, design decisions, and best practices across distributed systems
  • Support end-to-end development lifecycle including testing, deployment, and production support
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience in Python development (coding + code reviews)
  • Proven experience as a Tech Lead managing onshore and offshore teams
  • Experience with GenAI technologies, including:
    • LLMs, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)
    • Vector Databases, ElasticSearch
    • Agentic AI / AI-driven workflows
  • Strong experience in NLP and Chatbot development
  • Experience building and consuming REST/SOAP APIs
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems and scalable architecture
  • Experience with messaging systems (IBM MQ, JMS)
  • Solid knowledge of OOP, SOLID principles, design patterns, and clean code practices
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and build tools (Maven/Gradle)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or OpenShift)
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with modern UI frameworks (Bootstrap or similar)
  • Knowledge of Unix shell scripting / PowerShell
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, TeamCity)
  • Exposure to microservices and serverless architectures
  • Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools
  • Experience with A/B testing frameworks
