Job Title: Senior SAP Functional Analyst – SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning
Location: Remote
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Work Arrangement: Remote/Hybrid
 
Position Overview
  • Client is seeking a Senior SAP Functional Analyst specializing in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning to support its SAP S/4HANA Transformation Program.
  • The role focuses on financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, allocation modeling, and scenario planning.
  • The candidate will collaborate with Finance, FP&A, SAP teams, business stakeholders, and the System Integrator (SI).
  • Hands-on SAC Planning implementation experience is strongly preferred.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, configure, and support SAC financial planning and budgeting solutions.
  • Develop planning models, dimensions, hierarchies, calculations, and forecasting logic.
  • Build driver-based forecasting, financial allocation, and scenario planning models.
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable SAC Planning solutions.
  • Collaborate with the SI on solution design, implementation, and integration activities.
  • Validate data flows between SAC and SAP S/4HANA, including financial calculations and planning outputs.
  • Support testing, troubleshooting, and end-to-end planning validation.
  • Work with Finance and FP&A teams to improve enterprise financial planning processes.
 
Required Skills
  • Strong knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning functionality.
  • Experience with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Knowledge of driver-based forecasting and financial allocation modeling.
  • Experience with financial scenario planning and business assumption modeling.
  • Understanding of SAC Planning models, dimensions, hierarchies, and calculations.
  • Solid understanding of SAC integration with SAP S/4HANA and financial data flows.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and collaborating with technical and business teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
 
Preferred Skills
  • Hands-on SAC Planning implementation or configuration experience.
  • SAP S/4HANA transformation or implementation experience.
  • Knowledge of SAP FI/CO and enterprise financial processes.
  • Experience with SAC Data Actions and Advanced Formulas.
  • Experience collaborating with System Integrators on SAP implementation and integration validation.
  • Experience supporting enterprise FP&A and financial planning transformation initiatives.
Key Recruiting Priorities
  • Prioritize candidates with direct SAC Planning implementation experience.
  • Focus on financial planning, budgeting, driver-based forecasting, allocation modeling, and scenario planning.
  • Look for candidates who understand SAC–S/4HANA integration and can validate end-to-end planning processes.
  • Candidates with only SAC dashboards, reporting, or data visualization experience are not the primary target.
