Summary

Job Title: Network and Audio Visual (AV) Expert

Location-Remote

Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Network and AV Expert to design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure and audio-visual systems. The role involves ensuring seamless connectivity and high-quality AV experiences for meetings, events, and organizational operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain network systems (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi)
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues
Set up and manage audio-visual equipment (projectors, video conferencing systems, sound systems)
Support live events, meetings, and presentations with AV requirements
Ensure integration between network infrastructure and AV systems
Perform regular system checks, updates, and preventive maintenance
Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues for network and AV equipment
Coordinate with vendors for procurement, installation, and support
Maintain documentation of network configurations and AV setups
Ensure compliance with security and IT policies

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT, Electronics, or related field
5-8 years of experience in networking and AV support
Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching)
Experience with AV systems (video conferencing tools, microphones, speakers, display systems)
Familiarity with network devices (routers, switches, firewalls)
Hands-on troubleshooting skills for both network and AV issues
Basic understanding of structured cabling and system integration
Ability to handle on-site technical support during events

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications such as CCNA (Cisco), CompTIA Network+
Experience with platforms like Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or Cisco Webex
Knowledge of AV control systems (e.g., Crestron, Extron, AMX)
Understanding of IP-based AV solutions (AV over IP)
